A further two people have been charged after a police probe into an alleged transphobic hate crime in Harrow.

The charges come after an 18-year-old woman was assaulted in Masons Avenue last month, leaving her with stab wounds.

Police investigating the attack arrested Shiloh Hindes, 18, on Tuesday (March 26) and charged him with attempted murder.

He appeared at Willesden Magistrates’ Court the following day.

A 16-year-old boy, who cannot be named due to his age, was arrested on March 27 and charged with grievous bodily harm.

He also appeared at Willesden Magistrates’ Court the next day.

Both will now appear in custody at the Old Bailey next Friday (April 5).

In total, six people have now been charged in connection with the police investigation.

Summer Betts-Ramsey, 19, was arrested in February and charged with attempted murder and possession of an offensive weapon.

A 16-year-old girl was arrested that same month and charged with grievous bodily harm with intent, robbery and possession of cannabis.

Earlier this month, a 17-year-old boy was charged with grievous bodily harm with intent, disclosing sexual images and threatening the victim with a knife in a private place.

A second 17-year-old boy has also been charged with grievous bodily harm with intent.

All four will also appear at the Old Bailey next Friday (April 5).

The victim of the alleged hate crime has since been discharged from hospital.
